Wynand Wilsenach Architects – JUNIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

Wynand Wilsenach Architects has a permanent position available to join our Cape Town office-based team as a JUNIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST to work in our office (this is not a remote position):
All applicants must be legally authorised to work in the Republic of South Africa without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorisation.
Applicants must possess the minimum skills:
• An equivalent of a Bachelor in Architectural Technology;
• A complete working knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketchup;
• A competency in Revit is beneficial;
• At least two years’ working experience (residential projects are preferable);
• A good understanding of all stages of a project, from concept to construction drawings, including sketch design, technical documentation and close out documentation;
• A good understanding of the SANS 10400 and Building Regulations, and a sound understanding of local authority planning procedures;
• Potential candidates will have to demonstrate the following attributes:
* You must be detail orientated;
* Initiative, with the ability to work proactively, independently and as part of a team;
* Ability to manage and prioritise own work load, projects and deadlines;
* Good administration and organisational skills;
* Excellent verbal and communication skills;
