Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Candidate Architect at Wynand Wilsenach Architects in the City of Cape Town. The Candidate Architect will be responsible for technical drawing, working drawings, architectural drawings, construction drawings, and assist with building contract administration as part of the daily tasks, working alongside our experienced architects and contributing to a range of exciting and challenging projects.
Requirements:
• SACAP recognised bachelor’s degree in Architecture – registration with SACAP is beneficial
• Proficient in Revit is a prerequisite (an assessment will be required if you are shortlisted)
• A good working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other architectural software
• Excellent Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings skills
• Attention to detail, management skills, and excellent organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of drawings, plans, and specifications from sketch design stage to working documentation
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design solutions
• Conduct site visits and assist with site analysis
• Perform other related duties as assigned
