VACANCY: PROFESSIONAL OR SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST
Location: Stellenbosch, Dorp Street
Start Date: 1 June 2025
Neo Architects is seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic Stellenbosch team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, design-focused environment on innovative and contextually responsive architecture. The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical development, documentation, and execution of complex building projects across various scales.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for detail and a proven ability to contribute across all project stages—especially in the later work stages involving documentation and site coordination.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
• National Diploma or qualification in Architectural Technology
• SACAP professional registration (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the field
• Proven experience across all SACAP work stages, with a focus on stages 4–6
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (advanced level) and AutoCAD
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical design skills
• Experience in producing high-quality construction documentation and performing site inspections
• Background in large-scale residential and commercial projects
• Excellent construction detailing and design development capabilities
• Ability to manage deadlines and contribute effectively under pressure
• Team-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering quality work
