Haydn Ellis & Associates Architects – Junior Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist

Haydn Ellis & Associates Architects is a small boutique practice based in Gardens Cape Town, specialising in design-intensive high-end residential work.
An opportunity exists for an ambitious Junior Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist who is interested in taking design from concept to execution. The person employed will work directly with the Principal Architect.
Applicants must be:
• motivated, design-driven and details oriented;
• passionate about architecture and interior design;
• competent to handle the responsibilities of working on projects of various sizes;
• articulate and literate, friendly and a professional team player.
Salary offered commensurate with skills and experience.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:
• M. Arch or B. Tech with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Highly proficient in Autocad and preferably also Sketchup.
• Competent to manage site inspections and site notes, contractor and subcontractor liaison and information co-ordination.
• Advanced technical detailing competence.
• Advanced presentation skills would be advantageous.
Starting Date : Immediate.
