Two short to medium term contract posts exist in our Cape Town office for someone with the below experience. One position is for somebody in the Cape Metro, the other for projects along the West Coast, as far as VanRhynsdorp.
Senior Architectural Technologist with excellent knowledge and experience in detailing, documentation and construction of medium to large-scale projects. Strong ability to produce detailed working drawings, do co-ordination with other disciplines, attend site meetings, do quality control inspections and manage the building contract.
Requirements:
• Formal Qualification as Architectural Technologist from a recognised Institution
• Positive Team spirit and great team player
• Self-driven, proactive, autonomous and reliable
• Detailed oriented & rigorous
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• “Can do” attitude / “go getter” mindset
• 10+ years of Architectural experience
• Extensive experience in design development, construction and procurement documentation, construction and contract management (preferably NEC) of all types of general buildings
• Proficient in Revit, Autocad, as well as the full Microsoft Office suite
