GAPP Architects – ARCHITECT

A medium term contract post exist in our Cape Town office for someone with the below experience:
A mid-career architect with 15 years’ experience to lead a complex refurbishment project through Stages 3 to 6. We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge and experience in documentation and construction of medium to large-scale project with a strong ability to produce detailed working drawings and do services co-ordination with other disciplines.
In addition, the following requirements apply:
• Formal Qualification as Architect or Technician from a recognised Institution
• Valid SACAP registration
• Positive Team spirit and great team player
• Self-driven, proactive, autonomous and reliable
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• “Can do” attitude / “go getter” mindset
• Relevant years of Architectural experience as described above
• Extensive experience in design development, construction and procurement documentation, construction and contract management (preferably NEC) of all types of general buildings
• Proficient in Revit, Autocad, as well as the full Microsoft Office suite
