GAPP Architects – ARCHITECT

A medium term contract post exist in our Cape Town office for someone with the below experience:
An architect with min 10 years’ experience for all project stages on refurbishment and new projects in retail and mixed use. We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge and experience in design, documentation and construction of medium to large-scale projects with a strong ability to produce detailed working drawings, and do services co-ordination with other disciplines.
In addition, the following requirements apply:
• Formal Qualification as Architect or Technician from a recognised Institution
• Valid SACAP registration
• Positive Team spirit and great team player
• Self-driven, proactive, autonomous and reliable
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• “Can do” attitude / “go getter” mindset
• Relevant years of Architectural experience as described above
• Extensive experience in design development, construction and procurement documentation, construction and contract management (preferably NEC) of all types of general buildings
• Proficient in Revit, Autocad, as well as the full Microsoft Office suite
