DK Architects is a dynamic architectural firm specializing in commercial, industrial, and residential developments. Founded by Derek Kock in February 2004, the firm emphasizes professional service, sustainable design, and minimizing environmental harm. Based in Bellville, South Africa, all staff members are registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession. Our projects range from R1m to R600m and include public, private, commercial, retail, group housing, and individual houses.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Project Manager with 5 years’ experience, located in the Tygervalley area, with some work from home acceptable. The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for supporting project management tasks, expediting processes, conducting inspections. Day-to-day tasks will include coordinating project activities, liaising with clients and team members, ensuring timely delivery of project components, and maintaining project documentation.
Qualifications
Project Management skills including planning, coordination, and execution
Expeditor skills ensuring timely delivery of project components
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Relevant degree or certification in Project Management, Architecture, or related field
Experience in the architectural or construction industry is a plus
Experience in Smartsheet Management software would be advantageous
