AR Architects are small and energetic office led by Andre Rademeyer. The office is situated in tranquil surroundings on the Fish Hoek mountainside with panoramic views.
The practice takes on a range of projects including contemporary developments of commercial; mixed-use; schools and residential architecture, in addition to natural building; heritage & conservation work and sensitive additions to existing buildings.
We are driven by site responsive design and are committed in our exploration to find the right design solution to unlock the potential of each site we engage. We are not ‘signature architects’ arriving with a preconceived architectural ‘language’ applied to every project but rather engage each site and client to learn their particular ‘language’.
Andre Rademeyer Architects are looking for:
• 1 – An MArch /BTech Graduate (Candidate Architect/Snr Arch Tech) with 1-3 yrs Experience to start immediately.
• 2 – A 4th Year BAS student intern till end 2025
• Both positions require:
Good ‘All-Rounder’ with an Interest in: Residential & Heritage & Sustainable Design/ Design Generally / Strong Technical Skills / Strong Portfolio/ Good interpersonal and Communication skills.
• Self-Motivated/ Good sense of Humour / Love for Mountains and or Wind / Surfing 😉
• AutoCAD / Revit / Photoshop – Proficient.
• Own Transport Required.
• Ideally based in South Peninsula – but not a requirement.
